She sat in Julian's bed, with one knee pulled up to her chin and his blanket was strewn over both legs. She was dressed in nothing but her pajamas (which was, of course, lacy red underwear) and was staring into the air with her eyes shaded over. She looked exhausted with her makeup wiped off and her face was rather pale, her hair was frizzy but it was pulled into a ponytail. Obviously the natural state of her hair. The full moon was just visible outside the window but Elle seemed to be hiding from the moonlight.
After a long day out side of the house, mainly trying to avoid Elle and her mood swings, Julian entered his room - throwing his jacket onto a chair before he began to take off his shirt. Just as he did, his eyes landed on Elle. Obviously surprised the lunar prince just stared at her with his mouth slighty hung over. "What are you doing here?" He asked, snapping out of his shock and looking down to the ground, unable to meet the womens gaze.
Her head snapped over to him and her eyes went wide slightly, "I..." she trailed off before she brought both legs up to her chin and her hand rubbed her skin, "I'm sorry...I can go if you want..." She looked away with pursed lips.
His gaze went up to Elle for a few seconds before his eyes began to wander to different parts of the room. "Depends on why your here..." He said in a low voice, his gaze landing on his own bare chest and suddenly becoming self-concious. Normallly he wouldn't but, Elle always made him feel emotions he didn't normally feel.
"I just...didn't want to be alone," she murmured, barely audible, "not tonight." She couldn't look at Julian. She's talked to him openly before, slightly, but to confess weakness like that? Unimaginable if it wasn't for their circumstances. A circumstance that made Elle give in to it.
Finally his eyes went up to the water elemental. "don't expect to get lucky tonight." The corner of his mouth slightly turning up into a smile. "You can sleep under the blankets... i'll sleep ontop of them." with this he walked over to the side of the bed, his eye's examining Elle for a few seconds before he climbed on.
She shrugged, "wasn't wanting too," she mumbled, flicking her eyes towards him for a moment before looking down at the covers. Her hand slipped down to fiddle with it. "Scared to see a little bit of skin, Jules?" She asked, trying to lighten her own mood and shot him a small smile, "I'll have to say I probably have the best body out of all the females in this wretched house. I'd try to keep me above the covers."
Julian only shruged. "It up to you but, don't complain to me when you get cold above the sheets." He slightly smirk, laying his head on the pillow and closing his eyes. "So, why come to me?" Julian asked suddenly, not bothering to open his eyes.
"I don't think either Roger or Eliza would appreciate having sex with me in the room half naked," she mused before looking at him, letting her eyes wander, "or maybe it's because I like you the best here. Could be that."
"Hasn't seemed like that the past few days." He stated while he continued to keep his eyes shut. He knew exactly why Elle was acting distant and honestly, the alcohol caused him to spill some secret he was trying to keep hidden. "Whatever though..."
She shrugged. She didn't know how to explain it to him. That it wasn't really him who made her so cut off from him, more that she didn't know how to react to her own conflicting thoughts. "Would you believe me if I said it's not you, it's me?" She asked him.
She glancd over at him and shrugged, "maybe, maybe not," she replied, "I'm sorry...I didn't really think through this. I just...I'm just so sick of being me. Sick of my mind going overdrive, sick of having to be..." she trailed off, Roger's words entering her mind, "perfect. I just wanted a night. One night of being at ease, being human. You...you always seem so cut off, so...distant and aloof. That maybe of all people, you wouldn't judge."
