After the quest, many of the members stopped talking to each other. Maybe it was because everyone was trying to forget? Diana had no idea but, she always made an attempt to say hi to whoever she saw in the halls - Except Elle, who always ran away before she could catch her. Now, Diana was in the lunar classroom, tapping her pencil on the desk as she waited for the bell to ring. Finally it did and quickly she stood up to walk outside, her binder hugged up to her chest.
"Would it be cliche if I stepped in front of you? Bump into each other again?" He asked, leaning against the lockers adorning the walls, he wasn't holding anything and his hands had slipped into the pockets of his jeans. He wore a white hoodie that had black draw strings and leather ankle boots, but the ankle bit was covered by his jeans.
Diana's eyes flicked up towards Liam, a small smile tugging at her lips. "I think it's more cliche that your standing out here waiting for me." She joked before walking up to him and hugging him without warning. "It's good to see you Liam" She muttered into his chest before pulling away. "What are you doing here? Thinking of taking up Lunar classes?" Once again joking, trying to keep the mood light.
He hugged back, tight and close, breathing in her perfume. He always liked it, thought it smelt nice. Not too heavy, sweet and light. "I thought I just might, I'd fit in right away," he bounced back as his arms dropped back down to his side. He gave her a lopsided grin, "haven't been able to see you much...forgot how much work accumulated if you missed three months of it."
A soft chuckle escaped her lips, her smile growing. "Yeah, catching up has been really difficult, you'd think they'd let it slide after we saved the whole kingdom." Diana answered, watching Liam as she spoke. Their relationship had definitely grown more but, how far had it grown? Did Liam like her in the same way that she liked him? Or did he just think of her as a close friend? Diana couldn't figure it out.
He smiled back as he noticed her stare, "guess they want us to be on top of our education. So they can integrate into some important position...or something...guess you already have a position," he murmured before rubbing his neck, "don't suppose you want to take a break? Have a coffee?"
"I supposed so... Wouldn't wanna fall behind on classes either." She replied back. It wasn't until she heard his last sentence that an idea had sprouted in her mind. "A break sounds good but maybe not coffee..." She paused for a minute while thinking. Having to hold back a smirk before continuing. "Do you trust me?" She asked suddenly, looking in his eyes as she asked Liam.
His eyebrows raised slightly, "trust you? That's a hefty question, Hollande, one I'm not usually acquired to answer with a 'yes'," he replied before tilting his head, "I'm out of business for anything dangerous or law breaking but I'll entertain you. Yes, yes I trust you."
"Oh shut up Hastings.... or is it Norwood now?" Diana asked while beggining to lead him through the halls of the academy, passing classroom after classroom and making turn after turn. If Liam's eye would have been open then maybe he would have recognized where they were going.
"I'm not sure," he mused, "Roger and I haven't really discussed it and neither of us have told the academy of that relevation so I guess still Hastings?" He was tempted to peek but out of good faith he didn't.
Even though she knew he wouldn't see, Diana nodded. "It's still surprises me to know you guys are brothers." Diana admitted before glancing at Liam. "You aren't peaking are you? Because you'd be in big trouble if you were." She joked, finally reaching a door that lead into a classroom - a smile growing on her face as she looked at it. "Don't open your eye, Hastings." She voiced, while leading them into the class and letting go of him.
"Is it the fire room?" He asked, "returning me to my rightful classroom. Who know the Lunar class was exclusive and lunar elementals only," he mused, "and really? Guess we don't look too much like each other..." he trailed off. He knew his parentage and why he didn't look like Roger but he had never thought of telling people. Why he wasn't able to be a duke. "When can I open my eyes?"
"Just sit down right here..." She voiced while moving him over a bit and gently pushing him down onto the stool. After staying quiet for a few minutes Diana finally spoke up. "Ok.... you can open your eyes now..." She voiced while standing a few fet in front of him, only in a set of black underwear. Upon opening his eye's, Liam would hopfully notice the room to be where he asked Diana to pose for him. It was also the place Liam suddenly come out in only his underwear, making Diana slightly embarrased at the time. "You said you wanted to paint me nude right?" She smiled, only slight covering up with her arms as she stood there. She was both scared and excited. "This is the best your gonna get."
He opened his eyes slowly, seeing her underwear first and turned red, his jaw dropping. His eyes travelled up her body, taking in every detail, struggling to turn the artist of him off, and appreciate that Diana was currently standing there practically naked. The sheer absurdity of it, that he didn't suspect it, made him start to laugh, and he covered his mouth with his knuckles, and soon he couldn't stop. His other hand grabbed at the stool to stop himself from falling off. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." he breathed out inbetween the laughs.
She herself grew red, unsure as to what Liam was laughing at. It wasn't like she had done this to sleep with him or anything but, she had hope he would have reacted in a different manner. Maybe kiss her for once but no, all he did was laugh. "You idiot... Don't laugh..." She said in a small voice as she grew self conscious.
He eventually stopped himself, forcing his mouth shut, trying to control his breath. "I didn't expect it," he confessed still having the need to laugh, "you look great by the way." Shoot, are you meant to tell people they look great when they're half naked? "I'd..." he trailed off as he gazed at her, immercing himself in the artist side, "you'd be great to draw."
Her face had turned a deeper shade of red. "Thanks...." Was this a good idea? She didn't even know herself what intentions she had by doing it. Out of embarrasment, Diana turned around to hide her body more but, only successfully revealed scars that she had on her back - some from the quest and some not.
He leaned forward, without thinking about it, to grab onto her waist, draggin her back, his hands slightly wrapped around sides, as he studied the scars. "These are deep..." he murmured, not registering that her ass was practically in his face. "The quest?" HE asked.
Diana's heart raced as she felt his hand around her waist but, she liked the feeling. His hands were warm and gentle. "Some." She answered, moving her hair over her shoulder to allow Liam to see them easier. "That finally battle gave me some scars to remember." She halfheartedly joked.
His face softened, the whip marks on his back beginning to ache but his mind might have been making it up, "at least you can't really see them," he said, "sorry..." he dropped his hands. "I didn't mean to point them out."
She was beginning to grow nervous, her mind contemplating the idea she had been thinking about. "Liam..." Diana voiced in a soft tone before swiftly turning around and shifting up against him, not caring that her boobs were no press up against him. "...." She didn't say anything for a moment, her head leaned against his chest and her hands softly rested somewhere on his torso as well.
She just gazed at him for a moment, taking in the idea that she was sitting on top of his - kissing him. "I should get dressed before someone walks in." she smiled before shifting off him and walking over to her clothes that were lying on the ground just a few feet away.
"I actually have to be somewhere soon... Julian asked me to talk to Elle, rain check?" Diana asked, her clothes now on, her steps going back towards Liam. "Maybe i'll even get fully naked." She teased before quickly peaking his lips with hers.
She smiled before setting her hands loosley on either shoulder. "Elle is going through a lot... she needs someone to kick her out of it, Julian thinks that person is me." She paused. "I'll only be a few hours and then we can hang out, ok?"
He frowned, "we all went through a lot..." he trailed off before stopping himself. Elle wasn't his favourite person in the world but he knew he'd come off as insensitive if he discussed her. "Later," he agreed, rocking bck.
