Jasper was standing just a few feet away from Evan, a book in hand and his eyes fixed on the pages. In all honesty, the book was for one of his classes and it wasn't that interesting but, he did need to read it.
Like most people in the library, Jasper looked over to the boy who groaned and slightly smiled. Being his introverted self though he didn't choose to socialize with the other male, instead closing the book and going to sit at the table he was at and reopening the book to continue reading it.
He shrunk slightly when he noticed people looking at him and brought the phone closer towards him. Oops. He glanced over when he noticed someone sit, looking down to the book, before back to the phone.
Jasper slightly smiled before moving over to the other side of the table, taking a seat next to Evan. "What game you playing?" Jasper asked looking at the boys screen trying to figure out what game he was playing.
A small grin came across Jasper's face as he saw the game, one of his favorites. "I like that game... it's fun." He glanced at Evan from the corner of his eyes before looking back at the screen, hoping he wasn't being to weird and nosey.
Seeing the other male turn off his phone, Jasper only leaned back in his chair and nodded. "Of course, those were the best." He grinned while taking a slight pause. Jasper hadn't noticed it before but, mainly because Evan had the phone in front of his face the whole time, he was pretty good looking. Jasper pushed the thought aside and continued talking. "Luigi was always my favorite character."
He smiled before extending his own hand and grasping Evan's in his, giving it a soft shake. Once he did so he let go and let his hand fall back onto the arm of the chair he ws sitting in. "What about you?" Jasper asked with a raised eyebrow. "Who was your favorite character?"
"Thanks, Evan is a nice name to." He smiled before letting his eyes wander around the room before resting them back on Evan. "So how long have you been at the academy... i don't socialize very much but, i haven't seen you around."
Jasper was taken a bit by surprise when hearing Evan was an All-Elemental, he never would have guessed. This however did not phase the duke, instead he only nodded and smiled. "People are scared of things they don't completely understand." Jasper told him. "Don't expect me to go running though. It's actually quite intrensting how you can control all the elements."
"I can't imagine how hard it must be to keep up with all those classes." Jasper responded before taking a small pause. "Which element is your favorite? Of course mine is Water... being a water duke and all." He chuckled.
Jasper let out a small chuckle as he heard Evan's answer. "Some student in the water class might be able to argue with you." The water duke didn't really mind Evan's answer because it was true, Water was pretty easy to control.
He blinked, relaxing back into his seat. He supposed it was like that "don't talk politics" advice, instead "don't talk elemental powers". "I got through the first two or three episodes, I got dragged off by mad men."
A smalll smile tugged at the corner of his lips, finding Evan's ecitment kinda cute. Of course Jaser hadn't pointed this out and instead just listened to the other male. "Sounds like a good show. Maybe i'll watch it some time."
"I'll have to give it a watch sometime." Jasper smiled, taking some time to let his eye's wander around the room. Soon they landed back on the all-elemental. "Hey, would you wanna go somewhere else? I don't think everyone else want to hear us talking in the library."
Jasper slightly blushed at his words, obviously he noticed the boys good looks but he wasn't going say that outloud. "Yea that probably why they stare at you." He let out a awkward chuckle before rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand.
Jaspre thought of the question for a few seconds. Did he like Football? Well, he did like watching it - as for playing it... Jasper was far to lazy to actually play the sport. "I like watching it." He admitted.
He gave a soft nod before catching the ball in his hands, examining it it once it had landed. "Only the basics, Touchdowns, Kickoffs, Field goals." With the end of his sentence, Jasper tossed the ball back towards Evan.
He ease, The water duke caught the ball in his hand and raised an eyebrow at Evan. for a few moments Jasper looked around the area. "Don't we need a lot more players for this?" He asked before letting his eyes focus back on Evan.
