He ducked through the crowd in the hallway, his shoulders hunched, keeping his head low. He was trying to get out of the place, really, his elemental class was next and he hated it. He could only stand English, really. Seemed English really was universal.
He rolled his eyes, "yeah alright, whatever, have fun making out with it," he replied beginning to move forward, turning his head away. He didn't have time for smartasses like him.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair, trying to calm it, stopping his pace to look back at him, "what's it to you?" He asked, sounding resigned. He didn't mean to be brash but he was in a bit of a hurry before someone, like the teacher, saw him.
"Well, it really isn't anything to me, but I'm bored and skipping class too." Adrien stopped leaning against the wall and took a step forward. "The name's Adrien."
"Logan," he replied, eyeing him warily, "I'd guess your...ah...element but I don't think "arrogance" kind of relates to any of them. It seems to be a common trait."
"Though, if we do get caught, I'm leaving you in the dust," he observed beginning to walk again, "come on. Someone will be stalking down these halls." Like jail guards, he thought to himself.
He shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket not sure on what else to say. He found the conversations in the academy rather similar. What element are you? Are you new? What dorm? Are you royal, you certainly look like one Blah blah blah. He wasn't going to be the instigator of one. Though he supposed the first question was already half down and, admittedly, the last one came from females but he won't judge if Adrien asked it. "What class are you skipping?"
"I'm not in your class; Water and Fire classes tend to occur at the same time, considering there are few Water and Fire Bi-Elementals. And I knew you weren't a Water Elemental."
Adrien remembered what the... organization had told him, and he grimaced. He forced a smirk back onto his face. "It's enjoyable, to say the least, but in the end it doesn't change much. Solar and Water, if you were wondering."
"Solar...that's the light one, right? With the sun," he said narrowing his eyes. He still wasn't use to each element, all of them kind of zooming over his head.
He raised his eyebrow. He looked young. "Living in Earth, powers came late I guess. I was never an early kid. Didn't hit puberty until I was sixteen either."
"No, but I expected someplace without security cameras," muttered Adrien, glancing at said camera in front of the school. "Should be no problem, though."
"Maybe I should try walking out normally..." Well, the reasons Adrien would have to sneak out wouldn't let him go out so easily. "I do prefer routes where no one sees you--then you're leaving no traces."
"Class is boring," said Adrien, emphasising the last word with a sing-song voice. "You don't live forever so I'd rather spend these limited days doing something I actually enjoy doing."
