Lucy immediately looked up and put her stuff to the side so she could stand up and open the door. She was a bit surprised to see her half-brother at the door but answered nonetheless. "Can I help you... do you have a name?"
"Nate," he breathed out, "is there a...Lucinda," he said, pausing to look down at a note in his hand, "here?"
She nodded and soon a new timetable was sliding across to her, "oh, and Mr. Edan, you're done for the day, you can go." She glanced over to him and he shrugged, packing up his stuff. Smiling at Lucinda, "thank you dear."

Nate is a loner, he doesn't particularly like being around people much anymore. He puts on a front to scare people off and though he sometimes gets rather lonely, he'd rather that than putting on a smile. Underneath the hard exterior, Nate can be kind and rather helpful, going out of his way to make someone else's life easier.
Her eyes widened. "You're... You're his Royal Highness, Prince Nathaniel?" She gasped. "You know, I would curtsy and all, but what the hell?"
He stared at her, another weight settling on his shoulders. He hated it when someone grovelled at his feet. "And you're a duchess due to being my sister, why are we stating the obvious?" He asked, "and i was in detention. I don't have a habit of going to people's dorms to lead them to the office."
Lucy took one step into the classroom and immediately wanted take one step back out of the classroom once she spotted the jerk or perhaps her half brother from the other day. She refrained from groaning aloud and decided to take the 'don't talk to me' approach, assuming Nate would even notice her in the first place.
His eyes snapped up as she passed him and he watched her go frowning. When was she sharing a class with me? Bloody hell
"And why does that matter to me?" she countered. "I don't want to get caught up in whatever business you're in. For all I know, you might be assisting in like an assassination or something. I don't have time for Mainstream Edan stuff."
He breathed out, leaning back slightly, "alright, alright, I'll leave you but I did just want a breath of fresh air of some Edan that actually has a sane mind, you know. I'm spending my evening with Victoria and all she does is yab on about the new Edan's popping up all over the place."
"Anyway, good luck with that. So sorry I couldn't help you. Who am I kidding? I honestly could care less, now ta ta."
He grunted in annoyance when the teacher walked in, starting the class, "oh dear, oh dear, guess we're stuck with each other for..." he trailed off to look at his watch then grimaced, "seventy five minutes. Oh no, whatever will we do."
A scowl lit up her face as she glared at him. "You son of a—" before she could continue, she composed herself and took a deep breath. This is going to be a long seventy-five minutes... She flipped a page in her book and pretended to read.
"Language, young lady, swearing has no place for someone in the royal court," he lectured, "and, you should respect your elders."
"Yeah, it could be. You may decide to start talking to me when I don't want you to. Oh wait, you already are."
"I could decide to go tell everyone in the family about you, I'm sure both parents of mine will be overjoyed to hear about a new addition," he said, gesturing with his hand to emphasise his words. "But oh wait, I don't really like family gatherings so I might not do that."
"Wasn't going to. But you're an Edan after all. What can I expect from such a dysfunctional family?"
"Depends on what you heard," he said, regarding her. Deep down, past his violent, apathetic tendencies, he supposed he could relate to her. Lord knows he's been trying to seperate from the Edan family for the past few years and tried not to get associated with the Edan drama.
"Big sis is a psychopath. Uncle Seth has drinking problems and cheated on his wife and has been watching over another kid who has PTSD issues because he's been under constant abuse. Liam is a narcissistic piece of crap who couldn't look away from a mirror even if you paid him a million dollars. Mom and your dad can't get along for longer than a month... Shall I continue?"
"Makes me look like a teddy bear," he said with a joking grin.
She resisted the urge to smack her half brother and continued doodling on the now scribble-covered page of her notebook. "It's called trying to be nice. If I was actually being nice, I would not be talking to you. Saves both of us the torture."
OOC: Change that, autocorrect messed up my reply >.<
"But this isn't torture, not for me anyway," he pointed out.
