Rosamund walked up to the gate of the Academy. She was the only member of her family to attend the Academy, and she had to keep her true identity a secret. Looking up at the building and remembering those two things, she felt a sense of stress.
"Y'know, the best way to get close to anyone is to talk to them bastard." Eli frowned and shook his head, trying to shake off the sound of Sehyun's harsh words that continued to replay in his brain. After awhile, he started to take in the boy's cold advice. Maybe he has a point? he thought. Look, there's someone by the school gate! Go talk to them, it will be good progress. He slipped his hands in his pockets as headed over to the girl standing by the gates. "You look lost," he commented with a blank face. "Need some help?"
Was it just his imagination, or was this girl straining her voice? Perhaps pretending to imitate an accent. "Stop being paranoid so much you ass." He could hear Sehyun saying. "You must be new. My name is Eli."
"Yeah. You'll also get your dorm number and your dormates too. I can walk you there if you'd like me t—" he was interrupted by the nudging of Sushi. He glanced down at his cat and sighed. "Can I walk you over?" he said.
"So I would assume your Danish, but I don't have that type of feeling with you. There's kind of an Austrian air to you, but could just be me," he said, starting up a new conversation. Sushi squirmed in his arms and Eli shot his cat a glare. It stiffened and mewed.
"Ah there it is! I'm not talking about the accents by the way. You're German, aren't you? I mean your facial structure and your voice are extremely similar to one of German standards. It's alright if I'm wrong though."
"She plays poker but is an Edan. I may take a risk here." She thought to herself. "Alright, thank you for the information. I'm an avid poker player myself, and I'm looking for someone to compete against."
"Alright. Just remember to always keep an eye out kid," he sighed as they neared the administration building. He stopped at the door to continue. "Police Force is a lot stricter here than it is on Earth."
