After about an hour of shopping, the two had made it back into the dorm - Violet holding a few dags in hand. "Should we set these down in your room?" She asked while struggling to open the door but, managed to do it.
She nodded in agreement before heading to his door, opening the door quickly as it was unlocked from earlier - when she practically dragged him out the room. "You know, Most people would jump at the chance to celebrate their birthdays, why don't you?" She asked, throwing the bags onto his bed and examining the red marks that had started to form on her fingers from the pages. "Bad experiences or?" Violet knew all to well about not wanting to talk about her past so, she gave Xavier an easy answer.
He stopped to stare at her with wide eyes. "You don't know?" He asked before he could stop himself. Most people knew of his parent's death. He'd read more than enough tabloid coverage of it the past few years to know most people are aware. "No, I had good experiences with my birthday...just circumstances changed."
Being a big tabloid reader Violet did recognize Xavier but, she never really thought to mention it before. It really didn't change the way she saw him. "I know...." She answered, looking away from the boy only to look at the bags and find the one that had their Chinese take-out. "I just don't see why your families death has to change anything... don't you think they'd want you to enjoy your life... your birthday." Violet wasn't sure if she was roaming into dangerous territory but, being her own self she did pay much attention to it and plopped herself onto one of his seat before taking a bite of her food.
"I use to spend it with them, go out somewhere. The zoo, the movies, a theme park. I don't know. Somewhere. Birthday's was the one day we'd go out. Just us, no one else," he eventually said, picking up clothes from the ground, folding them up before placing them back into drawers, "I enjoy my life well enough. I don't need to go out and be friendly with bastards who just want to kiss a royal's ass for the sake of celebrating a human concept such as birthday's."
She listened intently while eating her food. "I didn't know you were a royal." Violet answered casually, moving aside a piece of meat to get to some noodles at the bottom of her plate. "Also, it sounds fun... the things you used to do with your family." Violet didn't really know what family time meant, she did experience it but, she had forgotten when she was taken bye he gang. "Maybe we could do something like that sometime."
"You're kidding?" He asked, "you've read about me in tabloids and never wondered why I was so special?" He gave her a lopsided grin, "the honourary Du Versailles. The cousin the royal family adopted out of the goodness of their heart? And sure, if you want. Though, staring at animals lying around can't be that fun anymore."
"To be fair, i read a lot of tabloids and vaguely remember your face being in one of them." Violet responded, putting her plate down on the desk next to her and crossing her legs. "Beside, it doesn't really matter to me. royalty, not royal. your still going to be the guy i slept with and awkwardly so happened to also be roommate." She pause for a second before giving him a small smile. "We can make our own sitcom."
"True..." She agreed, examining Xavier. "You can be rather boring so i doubt anyone would watch." Violet chuckled before looking around his room, her eyes finally landing on a gaming system set up next to his t.v "Ohhhh you have video games?" The bi-elemental asked before walking over to it and looking through his games. "Do you have latest battle field?" violet asked, looking back over her shoulder to look at Xavier.
He breathed in the summer air before closing his window. It'd been a month since his birthday and life had passed as usual...except...he'd developed a crush. Something he was most surprised about. Violet. He dreamed of her and if he shut his eyes, he could see her close by, just out of reach. Not for long. Today was the day. He strode across the hall, rapping on her door with his knuckles.
Her windows were open, letting rays of sun shine in while she worked on a design when she heard the sound of someone knocking on her door. Wonder who that is? Violet thought to herself as she went over to the door an opened it, revealing Xavier. "OH Xavier, Hai" She smiled at the sight of the boy she had grown to have a crush on. VIolet's hair was tied up into a messy bun, a pencil tucked behind her ear, and her clothing consisting of coincidently one of Xavier's white t-shirts and black jeans ripped at the knees.
She shook her head quickly before stepping aside, allowing him to come in. "No you not interrupting, actually just working on a shoe design." She admitted. "Did you need help with anything though? I could use a break." Violet smiled.
She let out a genuine laugh, something she couldn't do with just anyone - pushing Xavier playfully while doing so. "Your an idiot Woods." She smiled, turning the topic back on why Xavier was here - not that she minded. "So, what's up?"
"Dinner?" Violet repeated the words while thinking about if for a few seconds. Was he asking her out on a date? Or was it just what it sounded like, dinner. "Sure why not, i could go for some food." Violet answered, careful not to sound to desperate or not to uninterested either. "What did you have in mind?"
She smiled, giving a soft nod. "Sounds good to me." Violet voiced before walking over to her desk and packing up her things in a satchel. "Hey, mind if i tag along with you to work? I could use a change in scenery... promise i won't bother you while you work" She gave him a devilish smirk, as if he already knew she would in fact bother him while he was working.
While Xavier went and did his job, Violet sat on a stool near the counter. "Hmmmm..." She hummed before looking at Xavier and watching him talk to the costumers. She smiled contently as she watched him, her chin rested on the palm of her hand.
She took a long sip of her coffee, putting down on the counter before shaking her head. "I'm not, it's nice to just sit here and watch you work." Violet admitted, her gaze fixed on Xavier's. "Your really good with the costumers, especially the older ones." She noted.
She giggled at this, nodding in agreement. "Hey, maybe i should get a job here." She voiced while letting her eye wander around the cafe before she faced Xavier with a small smirk. She stood up and walked over to the counter before leaning over it, her lips just next to his ear now. "We can have sexy storage room sex on our breaks." Violet voiced in a hushed seductive tone before pulling away and winking at him - heading back to her previous set before another customer opened the front door and came in.
His ears turned rather red as he listened to her and he coughed into his fist, shifting his weight before forcing turning himself to the counter. That was not something to be thinking about. At that time, anyway.
Just as the costumer made his way to the counter, Violet swiftly made her way behind him - read to tease Xavier. Lucky there was no one around beside the older women, who was to busy, to see Violet liking her pen slowly. Of course the pen was just a replacement for a certain other tool but, she was sure her actions would get across to Xavier. While do so she also pulled the collar of her shirt down to reveal her laced bra. Doing this all while the costumer ordered his drinks.
His eyebrow twitched as he forced himself to focus on the customer. Don't look. Don't look. Don't look. She's going to kill me. Don't look. I am a seventeen year old male, I have needs. Don't you look. You have morals. He argued with himself enough that he missed the order, "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?"
Violet grinned as she heard his words, knowing her actions were getting to him. "You really should pay attention..." She mouthed to him before lifting her pen and releasing it, letting it fall to the ground. "Opps." Violet voiced out loud before turning around and bending down to get it. Intentionally lowering the back of her pants to reveal a matching underwear to her lace bra.
Finally Violet stood up and turned back around, facing the counter and watching as the man handed the money over to Xavier. "Here comes the best part." She mouthed to the solar duke once more, waiting for the moment that the man turned around with his drink. Once he did, Violet intentionally dumped into him - making the man spill some of his drink on her chest area. After some apologizing the man left, leaving Violet standing there with a wet shirt. "Think you can take a break to help me clean up?" She asked with an innocent look on her face, as if she hadn't done all this intentionally.
Violet frowned. All that hard work for nothing? "Fine, i can go take care of myself.... not like i haven't done it before." She smiled while raising her hand and sticking up her middle and index figure, sure Xavier would know what she meant, before walking off to the bathroom.
He eyed her leaving, finding his pants rather uncomfortable, and he turned his back to the world, facing the coffee machine and made himself more comfortable with one hand before reaching for the coffee beans. He eyed the clock, twenty more minutes.
It had only been a few minutes before Violet emerged from the bathroom, her shirt now clean but also a bit transparent. "20 more minutes till your off right?" She voiced as she walked past the counter and to her seat.
She rolled her eye's, leaning her jaw into the palm of her hand. "Well of course the view is nice but, it's nothing i haven't seen before." She smirked, leaning closer to the counter. "i have to say, it's a lot better without the pants on, just a personal preference."
